Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice Launches Its 2021 Season of Giving Campaign

Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice Launches Its

2021 Season of Giving Campaign

“Giving Tuesday” on November 30

Annual Appeal Kick Off December 1.

Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice (YMPJ) celebrates 27 years of “Activating People, Activating Public Space” in the South Bronx. While 2021 was a very challenging year addressing the needs caused by COVID, YMPJ was able to stand up with our neighbors and come out swinging.

Our work ensures that our communities in the South Bronx are strong, resilient, and can persevere!  We must protect our decades of progress, and support our community so we can continue our march towards health, opportunity, and equity for all.

During this Season of Giving we have TWO OPPORTUNITIES for you to support our important work:

Giving Tuesday – November 30, 2021

YMPJ is both fundraising AND “friendraising” on Giving Tuesday to expand the YMPJ family of supporters.  Giving Tuesday is a day that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. This year, we want to spread the word about us and how we activate the lives of people in the South Bronx community. So while we hope to raise some funds on this special day, we want as many people as possible giving at any level (yes – even just a few dollars!). An additional challenge we’ve set for ourselves is reaching a goal of 50 people giving to YMPJ FOR THE FIRST TIME by the end of Giving Tuesday. That’s 50 individuals or organizations who have never donated to YMPJ.  So give what you can and then let friends and family know we need them to help meet our friendraising target.

Annual Appeal Kick Off – December 1, 2021

As we finish up 2021, we revisit the highlights of the past year and look forward to a strong start in 2022. Ending the year financially solid is more important than ever and we have set a goal of raising $5,000 by January.  We are asking our supporters to give a generous end-of-the-year gift to help us meet our budget goals and continue to provide the services our community needs.

We hope you will be part of this exciting time of growth and renewal for YMPJ and the South Bronx community. Thank you for participating in this Season of Giving!
