YMPJ works to help local communities grow, develop, and thrive through remediation campaigns that turn neglected areas into vibrant public spaces.
One such project is YMPJ’s Morrison Plaza campaign. Located near the intersection of Morrison and Westchester, YMPJ has big plans for this unassuming strip of grass. Through the Department of Transportation’s plaza program, YMPJ is working to add painted curb extensions, planters, benches, tables, and chairs, and hopes to make it a fully pedestrianized plaza in the future.
